I will be in the Charleston area for work Oct to Nov. Looking for input on what to target on public numbers. I don’t see us going past 30 miles out. Any help on what reefs may be better then others. Thanks in advance. Coming up from Florida.
Within 30mi, bottom fishing should be good for you.
Live bait or dead bait grouper fishing.
check out navionics webapp, that will show you everything you need to know. the easiest to get to in that range is probably the charleston 60 reef
The weather will dictate if you go thirty miles or thirty feet into the ocean when you arrive. If the weather is nice, making a run to Charleston 60 or Y-73 are good choices to think about. Plenty of bottom critters willing to play. If the weather is ugly, you might should try your luck at the jetties for sheepshead or reds.
