i just found out that there is an inshore reef out by ashe or otter island in saint helena sound, i fish out there a fair amount but i never new there was a reef out there, anybody ever fish it and how deep is it , might ride out there tomorrow

I’ve never fished it, but this is the location…depth reported to be 22’.

I have tried several times to find that reef. No luck. I asked a local shrimper about it and he said the DNR dropped the reef balls in the pluff mud and they sank out of sight. If you can find any trace, please post the location (or you just found the perfect honey hole).

Interesting. On the subject of reefs has anybody ever fished the reef out by folly pier or the inshore reef on the stink?
