Another great day on the water(4-17-19). This post is to excite others about the dolphin run. The dolphin we are catching are much bigger now .My team made the right call as to where to go on the temp break and good things happened. I will post later this week of a picture of a dolphin that is bigger than my rod and reel ! Glad to have two new faces on my boat this week and looking forward to fishing our brains out this year. Good luck to everyone on their hunt for fish …
Awesome day! How deep did you find em?

Thanks for your comments . I also enjoyed speaking with you the other day. I gladly post to help others. I get a bit tired of the general fishing community being so closed lipped. I get it that we spend lots of time and money finding our spots and experience but I am also about being kind, sharing great experiences with others. What greater joy is there but to help others? Best regards, Al</font id=“size2”>

Let me know when ur taking applications, I’m ready to give up trucking and get me a job on one of ur fishing charters,lol!..my arms were sore for days after going fishing with y’all last month, Wtg on that catch wensday!..
Great catching. I also went Wednesday and didn’t see any fish under weed mats off the triple ledge/ out to 900 ft. East side got up to 77.9* and west side74-75. About 6 boats out and a couple said they had full boxes.
Weed was busted up on the hot side…picked about 10 bales worth. I’m snake bit. I have angered the Fush Gods.

Sorry to hear you did not find the goodies… I have been able to hit the right spot every time using my weather module in real time and adjusting a bit. I usually don’t pick the first weed line – I pick the one that looks right to me along with temp breaks as you stated.
On Wednesday the weed line was not as I normally like and therefore we worked it much differently and it worked for us.

What I did see was a line of weed running east and west for about a half mile which was perpendicular to the main weed line…had the only flying fish I saw all day. Thanks for the good report.

Man what do we all glean from this info…? I would say move fast and varied till you find them.
Congratulations. We had a great day Wednesday as well. Ran out of Edisto to a beautiful sea. Put 20 in the box and came home at 48 mph.
