Far better it is to dare mighty things to win glorious triumphs even though checkered with failure, than to take ranks with those poor spirits who never enjoy much nor suffer much because they live in the grey twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.
lamson’s have a great drag sys and a terrific cust support if u ever need em (doubt u will). the reels are super light and have stood up well to some hellacious treatment. i fish the old velocity and litespeeds (same drag). Loop is a great reel as well, but id lean towards Lamsons due mainly to the smooth start up of the drag and my past experiences. when i was reel shopping, they were the lightest reels i could find
Got 2 Konics, and they have stood up to bones, permit, smallies, trout, reds and so on, I love em. I aint got da cash to buy much more expensive than the Konic but they all have the same drag system and i talked with a fellow at Lamson and there is no plans to end the Konic production, they don’t look quite as nice, but you know the fish don’t complain, once i take da hook outta em! ha

Another nod here for Lamson. I’ve got a Radius and a Velocity and I love 'em both.
I have a Litespeed on my 10wt and I like it, for what it’s worth.
Pillage and plunder with a 9wt and a fist full of clousers.

i have the lamson guru for my 9wt. Great reel very smooth and amazing drag whether you’d need it or not. plenty of line capacity and looks good. completely sealed got mine from CA west ashley with a tfo professional #9. cant go wrong. also have lamson radius 5 wt. they make great stuff.
