Left Shem Creek around 6:00. Made bait in one cast in front of the fort. Beat our way twenty five miles offshore. Everyone was tire of the spray and slow going, so we trolled the last six miles to my numbers. Picked up a cuda and a king. My buddy that was puking over the side said there was a sailfish swimming right beside the boat. Anyway finally got there and found them. Got anchored up. 2 out of 4 were sea sick. Had to work around them. Managed to pull off by myself:
1 scamp 14.15 weighed in the trident
1 gag
12 bliners
3 triggers
1 dolphin
The water was the dirtiest ive ever seen it in 100 foot. Very surprised the dolphin was there. Made our way through the jetties about 4:00. Not too bad of a day. Wish everyone would have felt better, but they hung in there. Got pictures coming!
Forgot to mention. Not a single amerjack or shark and no undersized fish. That was great.
