REEL TIRED - UDC - 7/9/13

You’ve seen it in the comics, but Jeff really did it. He caught a tire. They came down from Winston-Salem just to fish. They caught some real (reel) nice keepers, Reds and Trout. At the end of the day, they might not have wanted to drive all the way home.

All caught on live Menhaden and Mud Minnows.

Good report Ugly. My neighbor trimmed the hedge between my house and his. I walked over to thank him and he asks, “Hey, Big… you want me to throw that old tire you have just laying in your yard away in my company’s dumpster?”

I said sure… and then explained how it was just one of many MANY things that I bring back in the boat that I usually just leave out for trash day. But, they don’t haul off tires. Good job putting your clients on fish and thanks, for helping them get some of the crap out of the water.

Glad y’all had good luck. My frothier in law and me spent the whole July fourth week around St. Helena and had slim pickings with all the rain that created dirty waters. We tried about everything too. Any suggestions for those conditions?
