Hmm maybe someone planned ahead? Has to be someone familiar with you, boat, and your equipment.
No one knows I keep them there. From the reports at the marina a flats boat came in the marina around 12 Midnight with it’s lights off. No one thought anything of it just another drunk boater. They had to see me come in the marina with the reels on the boat and figured they would be there at night. I had them put away where you could not see them so they had to be there for a reason.
Good thing is I had sport fish coverage and my insurance is replacing them. Karma is a ***** they will get it eventually.
I was in Dubai last month, there the law would ask the thief which hand they picked up the reels with… Then proceed to chop it off.
I walked in some of the older more rundown areas of thc city. Deliveries of goods in boxes are left on the sidewalks with crowds walking past, but nothing is taken…
So if they do get caught, what will they et a few months of free room n board? Sure does seem the government is more worried about the honest folks iline than those who live on the societies fringes.
Cops called? Fingerprints?
It really is that simple.

Bad thing is you’ll probably be dropped right after making the claim!

I had a nearly new Yeti 110 stolen off my CC at City Marina about a month ago. Any thieves I catch will be shot on sight and will be personally delivered to Davy Jones’ locker…

Got a great update on a local thief that has been caught with lots off offshore equipment and coolers. I can not say his name till he is charged.
He cheated on a GF where the gear was stored and well you can fill in the blanks from there. Call me if you have been a victim recently especially ripley light, city marina and Bristol.

will the GF be getting the 1500?
Do not know if he had my gear yet. Never the less he has a lot of other peoples gear. The boat fit the description that came into the marina that night though.
glad to hear you at least have a lead that matches up.
So the police have already been there but he has not been formally charged yet?
I hope he gets off free as a jay bird. Jail is no place for him. Need to put some concrete boots on that guy!!
