Who do you use for reel service/repair?
Haddrell’s West Ashley.
Jack Taylor
Thanks for the input.
Haddrell’s rebuilt several old “Made in the USA” Penn reels for me.They are like brand new. Highly recommended.
It might take a while @ Haddrell’s, I was on a 5 week wait.
-There are two types of fisherman those who fish for sport and those who fish for fish.
I agree Haddrell’s West Ashley is the spot. I had several rod guides repaired there and they are good.
A wise man once said “Do as I say not as I do” Good advice when I tell you that.
depends on the reel and the problem. Worm gear on a 5000c or something i do my self. if i had to take my stradic completely apart, i would go to Haddrells. i had haddrells fix an old penn for me too and they did a great job.

Haddrells’s is the S***. Customer service! Never will shop Wal-mart again. Save 50 cents on gear or have access to lifetimes of help and knowledge. It’s a no-brainer for me.
The reels a penn torque 200. I got it used on line. I’m deployed overseas right now so not there to check it out. So I was thinking I would just have the wife drop it off to be serviced and make sure everything was good to go. Thanks
