Left shem at 400 to an expected choppy ride. Went to the outcrop. Ten mins in 50 on the planer rod starts screamin. Nice hoo. Picked up 3 blackfins and 3 dolphins. Both 3 at a time. Had a dozen other non fatal hookups. Had a 30 wide get dumped and pulled the hook with 100 yards of braid left at the same time as the tuna were caught. Big mustad 10/0 hook bent to hell. Will always wonder what that was. Great fishing, sloppy ride until the last 20 miles it layed down. Headed in at 11:30 when the wind really picked up offshore. Great day on the water.

Nice catch. Was wondering if you ever had any luck on the purple and black Marauder in the third pic. Got the same one and only caught a 150 lb mako last year.
The marauder gets bit every trip. Very bad hook up ratio for me though.
ReelyScreeming do you pull it on a planer or just by itself?
by its self on the corner. The wahoo came on the planer on the other corner with islander and meat. Almost 100% hook up ratio on the planer.
