Left shem creek at 4am. Found a rip just north of the outcrop at six thirty lines in. Nothing on the rip. Started trolling towards the outcrop, at eight had first of many triple headers. Caught three of the first fifteen bonitas. Ended up with the 15 boneheads, 1 king, 1 cuda, and eight blackfins. One stud about 30-35. Could not keep the lines in the water. Ran out of bait at 12:00. We managed to get all eight lines out once after we got into them and had all eight go down within 10 seconds of each other. Wound up with 4 hookups. There were acres of tuna jumping 10 feet in the air. I have never seen anything like it. We rolled in at 48 mph. One of the most beautiful days i have ever spent on the water. Pics + video links coming tonight.
A little help making the pics look good one of you computer gurus please. My buddy has an awesome video of a quadruple knockdown and fight and landing. Gonna try to get it on here. It was too big for him to email me.
sounds awesome! waiting on the pics. You said you ran out of bait - feeding like it sounds they were you’d think they would hit artificials - cedar plugs, stretchs, casting tuna plugs etc? No?
Pink seawitches and naked ballyhoos were the hottest, but all the colors and baits got hit. Caught them on every color they make im pretty sure. Trolled about seven mph. All mono leaders 80-100lb.

If you can’t stand behind our soldiers, try standing in front of them.
Yeh they would have hit any of that stuff im sure. But we had an exciting day and a long drive back to spartanburg so we werent really dissapointed to end a little early. We pulled some high speeds for about ten miles down the ledge with one hit but no hook up.

I cant believe you dont like these fish. I have had tuna many different ways at many different restuarants and we cut sashimi out of on last night that was quiet possibly the best fish i ever ate. I have some yellowfin in the freezer that im not touching until this is gone.

I cant believe you put YF in the freezer.Just poking at you dude.I am not running 40+ miles to catch those critters, when I can run 18.2 miles off the rocks and catch quality groupers and other grand bottom dwellers.
