refreezing?

can you refreeze mahi? i have more in a bag than i can eat eat at one time and dont want to waste it.

Probably wouldn’t try it. Just cook it all and make salad out of the left overs. A little mayo. BOOM! You got salad! Then you have sandwiches or what ever.

On a cracker…
with some eggs…
late night spoon fulls standing in front of the fridge. Mmmmmmmmm.

Karma is 360 degrees

Not a good idea to ever refreeze anything…

I use leftover grilled mahi to make fish tacos - shred the mahi filets, add a little cumin, chili powder, red pepper and water or oil to saute lightly just to warm the fish (I use water). Use bagged cole slaw mix and mix with ranch dressing, your favorite salsa and put it all in “stand and stuff” taco shells (order: fish, cole slaw mix and salsa) -YUM YUM!

Now that I think of it, I’ve used leftover grilled sheepshead as well to make fish tacos - those are yummy too!
