Thoughts?
Can get the $1300 ipilot from Minn Kota refurbished for around $1000…still has a warranty from Minn Kota, still serviceable at any authorized location, etc. etc…
Any reason not to?
My sister’s boyfriend is the director of quality at an international corporation and is an electrical engineer… think real smart. He told me that most refurbished electronic items are actually checked/tested more and better than first run items. He is very picky but said there is no reason not to seriously consider an refurb.

Agree with what DF said. I have several things I have bought that are refurbished. Never had any problems.
Well, found it new for cheaper than refurb!

Check here. I don’t know how the heck they sell stuff as cheap as they do, but they beat everybody when I bought an Ipilot.

unreal what price difference on items shopping the net. Just bought a cross bow from one source and was shipped by another that I had looked at the same time and was $50.00 higher. Same bow but a lot cheaper!
