I’m having trouble keeping registration numbers on my boat. Last trip out the spray coming up the flare was like a pressure washer and literally tore them to shreds. I lost half of the main reg decal and all of the block letters. I cleaned that part of the hull with windex before application. Is there a better way to do it? They are already almost back at the console section because the flare on the hull is so large.
Might be a little costly but have them airbrushed or painted on & then clear coated over. Should never have to change the numbers as long as you own it or sell to someone in the same state as you.
Try backing down on the throttles!, Just kidding , try cleaning the wax off the hull with liquor thinner before installing them next time!

Liquor Thinner? You think Tonic Water will help?
Thanks, Captain Ross

Yeah, just go to a legit local sign shop and get some decent ones made. They shouldn’t come off if you prep the area at all. I would not paint the letters on.
T topless, I always use vodka when adding tonic, might had to much that night!

Me either. Good quality ones is the route I would take. I’d call Sheryl at Royal Touch and get her to make me some.
