Came down this weekend for a little relaxation on the water this weekend and a little shrimping.Met my buddy Matt at Folly River and we set out for a day of fishing in the river.First spot we hit was one of his favorite spots for Bonnets and whiting.No Bonnets but the whiting stayed steady on us for about a hr or so.Pulled up and went to another spot and Matt hooked up on a nice Red measuring over 30 inches so he was released back safely in the water.First time seeing one in person (live in the upstate) and they are really some pretty fish.Tried for some trout but didn’t have any luck.So on to the next spot which produced another load of whiting.Stayed there about 30 minutes and we called it a day…Had fun down in charleston this weekend.Can’t wait to bring my boat down to hit the water up for some shark,Reds and Trout…Thanks Matt for a awesome day bro

after y’all fished, matt and his wife spent the rest of the weekend helping us dig out of our old place and get into the new one- i owe him some water time now!
lol.yeah it was fun.learned about a few new spots.so next time i come down i can put my new info to work.Appreciate you two guys for all the knowledge you guys have gave me about charleston waters…
