You’d be required to wear a blindfold of course Dave. Legend has it that not even his wife has actually seen his face. I hear it’s glorious…

Hate that I’m going to be missing this, I ended up back at MUSC for the past week… a type of fungal infection in my lungs… word is I’ll be able to go home Sunday or Monday… was looking forward to meeting some of you!! On another note are there t-shirts?

Found the store sorry

Which one of you knuckleheads came in at the “Very Last Minute” and snagged my Pamlico Sound trip AND my Saturday Slam?

I’ll get you for this, lol

good snag

I was glad to see many of the offerings went for over the full asking price, so thats good.

@Optiker Hate I missed the opportunity to bid. Got busy this weekend at a fishing seminar with Jot Owens on the Cape Fear. Let me know if any of the bids falls through.

@JumpNCobia

Did you see the Pamlico Sound trip? I got swooped on it, but at $500 (his half day full price) we should maybe split a trip with him sometime (he guides out of Oriental) and check that area out.

His website says his boat fishes 3 guests, so maybe grab a 3rd? I know a guy, lol.

I’ve got cheap lodging at Harkers, so there’s that.

Im in just tell me when! Been to Oriental several times with the SeaArk.

Thanks guys. EF I met the guy who outbid you…he was at the event. Good guy. Tthank you for bidding I appreciate you.

For a recap - the event went off without a hitch. Weather kept away, in fact it was warm and sunny. Really good turnout. Mrs Fladd won the chili cookoff :slight_smile: It wasn’t rigged I promise. She’s an excellent cook!

Most of all, we did a great job celebrating our top participants and raised some good money for the cause. If y’all didn’t know our entire Board volunteers their time, so pretty much all the funds we raise go directly to rewarding anglers who practice conservation and working to influence those who do not (yet).

It was a great day and I’m super happy about it and feel that this event will grow to be something truly special. Hope more of y’all can make it next year.
