can’t attest to the accuracy of this info but read on another forum that Pilot/circle j gas stations are removing the American flags from their stations saying they don’t want to ( OFFEND ) some of their customers from other countries…YALL DO AS YOU PLEASE BUT IF THIS IS TRUE I’LL WALK BEFORE PURCHASING FUEL FROM THEM AGAIN AND I WILL STATE THIS TO THEIR MANAGEMENT !!! There are several stories on the internet saying that it isn’t true. I can’t believe a nationwide truck stop chain would do such a thing.

D , I agree and as i stated i can’t attest to the truthfulness of it but i have also received a couple of posts that said they had spoken to a couple of store mngrs who said it was true… I usually use them and when i go again i’m gonna ask before i purchase anything… i’ll post results…

If true, this was a bad business decision and will probably soon be reversed. There are a lot more good old boys buying gas than flag hating non Americans. Not to mention, we are in the United States and it is our flag. You would think they would have learned something from the NFL taking a knee controversy.

I’ve been a commercial driver for a long time and frequently use Pilot or Flying J truck stops in my travels. Both are owned by the same people. I was in a Flying J this past week and while waiting on my wife, was browsing the various “patriotic” shirts in the displays.
I also noted that there was an American flag flying at that location that day too. After reading this post, I checked Snopes and can’t find any indication that they’ll be removing our flag.
Heck, if the flag offends foreigners, all that merchandise I was looking at would certainly offend them and liberals as well. I highly doubt the folks who own those truck stops are going to do anything as stupid as pissing off the very people who sustain their business & it’s not foreigners.
Totally agree BigJim , there is soooo much fake crap being posted you don’t know what to believe any more . I honestly regret posting about it as i have mentioned before…One thing most will have to agree on is; in todays world of political correctness , snow flakes , safe spaces , not knowing their own gender , removing historical symbols/statures , and worst of all; REMOVING ALL ASPECTS OF GOD FROM OUR SCHOOLS AND GOV. Removing the American flag would not be a surprise !!!

It is so bad, that I just automatically disbelieve most things. Unbiased reporting is the exception rather than the rule these days.
