Anyone here own a home that they rent out? Specifically through VBRO?
If so, I would like some info, we have one in Fripp and wanted to know what type of insurances, taxes, etc. it adds to the yearly cost. Or do you wing it and not get renters insurance etc…

VRBO. My best gals parents use VRBO for the mountain house and do really with it. As far as insurance goes she has it over insured a little she says and the taxes are the same for her as if she lived in it full time. That is in NC though.

Down here is where a signature goes but they can confuse and anger some people so I don’t have one.
I don’t own a home but we have rented through VRBO for years and have only had one bad experience.

My parents have a house that we do not use much, I was going to see about renting it on VBRO, we just didn’t know if we needed additional insurance/(it has a pool and dock to water), would be nice to rent it out and get some extra cash.

I would run it past my insurance company to be sure you and renters are covered under the current policy.
