Replace Battery in Fast Find PLB?

Got a shock today when my five year battery replacement came due.
Am getting prices ranging from $125 to over $200 from companies all over the place.
-why so expensive?
-anybody in Charleston area do this?
Thanks for your replies.

If you are talking about having someone else change it, that’s not bad pricing. A heavy duty Interstate marine battery at Costco is about $100. (includes core charge of $10). It’s worth $25 dollars to change a boat battery.

Thanks, tank.
I have since found a company in Tampa that does the replacement for $99+shpg.

May want to save it if you have a replacement coming up soon.
It does not seem there is anyone local who provides this service.

Thanks, Chris.
I gave them a call; and I will have my battery replaced there.
A little more expensive than the Tampa folks; but when you factor in shpg, the difference is negligible
