REPORT 8-17

Me and several of the “floatilla” armada made our way out in the customary fashion of a big afternoon thunderstorm. Things finally settled down but ended up with an easterly wind. After trying several different secret spots to no avail, pulled anchor and tried a COOLBREEZE top secret spot-WE HAVE A WINNER! Fish finally started biting about 10-10:30. Put several decent LEGAL fish in da bote and 2 shorties. Left the fish biting around midnight as no more beer nor bait. Some fish caught on live and some on cut-chumming the whole time. Marked fish the whole time just hard to get to bite-some fish took it deep and some the circle hooks did as supposed to. Missed several fish as my partner is still refining his “striper hookset” from his “crappie hookset”:face_with_head_bandage:[:0]. If you can ever cary coolbreeze with you, do so! The man is a riot-great times Bobby-look forward to next time

thank you and i approve this message.

yeah; after a couple of hours of nothing we headed to a spot that i have caught fish in most times. we had decided to leave around 10-10:30 but the fish did not start until almost leaving time. well, you know the rest of the story. we were driving across the dam at 11:55. once again me and triton had a large time. i am working on that jerky motion at this time. need to be just a tad more patient with the bites. ready to go again at about any time.

we had problems keeping our bait alive. seems like 4 out of 5 bait would die within just a few minutes. they would come up looking like they had been dragged at 10mph, eyes all bugged out and mouth yanked open. had the OH CHIT look on their faces. lol.

maybe it was the billions of gar we saw?
