report 8-21

The stripers seem to be really turning on near the towers in Lake Murray. I have been trolling with lead core and catching some nice keepers the past two nights in a row. Most action is just before sunset. The fishfinder is lighting up as they rise to feed with the sun setting. On Wednesday night I marked a school of bait and fish so large that it fooled the fishfinder into thinking it was the bottom. Good luck yall!

how many color out are you trolling and what is on the business end of the line, there was a pontoon trolling around thursday morning doing alright.

Usually 6 colors on one rod and 8 on the other. Have been using a downrigger with a bucktail+trailing worm also between 35-45 feet. I have been looking for the fish on the sonar, then trying to pull just above them. There have been some huge schools of bait out there.
