Anyone get out deep holing or poling? I am debating on throwing the deep hole net in the harbor or bulls bay today or tomorrow. Just want to know if the shrimp have settled back in and whether to head to the bay or harbor?

Gonna hit the Harbor (deep holing) this evening and see if they are around.

Tide was a 5.8 yesterday evening and when I got to the landing at Shem Creek the water was all the way up the ramp. Definitely still a lot of water pouring out of the rivers and creeks. As I headed out Shem Creek (or shem creek) the water looked like tea very similar to the water on the upper Wando. We hit the harbor at dead high and threw the net for about an hour and a half. It was hard to find good marks/show on the sonar bur managed to find a few shrimp. Mediums to large in about 18-25’ off crab bank.
Silver lining there were some nice red legs netted so that gives me hope for BB and the harbor this weekend as the water settles the fresh water pumps out of the state!

How much do you consider “a few shrimp”?
You just netted a few or was it more like 1/4 or 1/2 cooler?

It wasn’t quite enough to cover the bottom of the cooler.
There was still pieces of docks and debris floating in the water, so be careful when you do head out.
