REPORTS???

I know some of y’all have been. What’s happening up there? Some of us are stuck at home/work and we NEED REPORTS!!!

I went with the family to CG late Saturday afternoon. There were lots of boats leaving when we got there. Some said they had caught nothing, some said they had only caught short fish.

Daddy and I only fished about 30 minutes and without a bite. We dropped the family off on the beach to play and went back to stay with them. The wind was cold on Saturday.

Yeah, I heard it was tough on Saturday. It is still early, but I’m hearing good flounder reports from Murrells Inlet, so I was expecting to begin hearing good things from up North. I guess it’s just too early still. Hopefully, I can get out with little man soon. He’s been asking to go, but with the new baby and work, there isn’t enough time in the day.

Since I’m in CG a lot… The only bote I saw this week was the same old guy that sits on the same old spot in CG. I have no idea who this guy is but he starts early and fishes that same spot (unless someone else beats him to it).

I did notice someone gigging after dark one day.

I’m avoiding my botes. (And the work they need.)

Do the Spring Trout come back in to Coquina?

Mr. Harold is always out there. He’s a really cool guy. He always has a fish or two. I’ve heard of a couple of people who have gigged a few, but I haven’t heard of anyone catching anything of size to speak of yet. I just wanted to hear if anyone that I didn’t know personally was doing any good. Thanks y’all!
