To be honest reports won’t change untIL it gets closer to mid/end of sept. Then they will still be the same. 50-60’ deep on humps off man river channel or suspended at same depth over the channel with some occasional schooling IF it cools down some. Water temp really needs to get down to the 70’s before a TON of schooling takes place. You might get a couple reports of some shallower fish in the 40’ range but they will prob be smaller fish. All of these reports will come out of the big pool. Now there may be a few different reports from above the big pool but those will be on places like Facebook or in the baitshops. Hope this helps.
Just Reread that and I don’t mean to come off as a butt…lol…just trying to help ya out cause I don’t think many people would respond. Also alot of times people will use the same thread for a couple of weeks without starting a new one. If you do start a new one throw a date on it or something so people don’t get confused on what thread they are responding too.

Pretty much what he said … We just look for humps in the 80’ to 100’ range and see if they are holding fish … Last weekend was tough due to the cold front (yep, there was one) blowing through … When that happens the fish are picky and you have to keep your bait presentation as clean as possible … We managed to catch all legit keepers last Saturday right off the main river channel in the big pool right at sun up … Doubled up a couple of times … Not the fish we’re used to but 22" - 25" fish ain’t bad for the little bit of effort we put into it … LOL
… it’s my Wife’s fault we HAVE to fish !!!

What are the fish you are used to this time of year? Don’t hear about many even over 28!
When we catch 'em I’ll post 'em …
