We use it at work to insulate motor leads on all of our 480v 3 phase motors and buss bars in equipment. It will stop a leak in its tracks as well and is a better all around product than rescue tape. At almost $70 for a 36’ roll, it ain’t cheap, though. I keep some on my boat for emergencies. Watch the videos in the link above.

I’m not sure, I’ll check with our guys that order it to see where they get it from. I know they had a minimum order of 6 rolls, though. It probably isn’t readily available unless you check with an industrial supply company or electrical supply company.

A quick Google search turned up this. You can get three 3’ strips for $12.75 or a 12’ roll for $26.35. That might be the best way to get it.
