The Glass Onion…yummy . If we are talking “Charleston”, Coast, Hanks, 82 Queen…exellent She Crab soup, Fleet Landing…great Crab Cakes, Anson…lots of choices.

I agree with all except. I Won’t ever eat at Fleet again. Was there awhile back and they had swordfish from Hilton head, V-liners from Murrells Inlet, and shrimp from “Idk I think Mexico” the waiter tells me when I ask. Seriously across the bridge from the shrimp dock and your not serving me local shrimp. Not getting my money.

Tigershrk21, where I get my fresh seafood, they have almost no local fish. And 100% of the shrimp comes from Mcclellanville or Georgetown. I ask why not buy local? The owner stated his cost is “Way to high!”, his words. " I would have to charge 30%-50% more."

Yeah, you would be surprised how much seafood at the local restaurants, esp. shrimp, they bring in from out of town or state. I’m sure most would tell you its local if asked, but if the profit margin is better, bet they will go with the cheaper option.

Murrells Inlet is close enough to call local…Waters Edge was an iffy tourist place last time I went there…Sorry. …JMO

McClellanville is in Charleston County. …That’s not local…? Georgetown 20 miles up the coast. Lighten up Francis. …That’s local enough for me.
