Fished yesterday with Lee Keidel from Kingpin Charters and Rick Bergstresser on Rhino Charger out of Tamarindo. Fishing was slow for Costa Rican standards, but we raised 6 or 7 sails, had 4 eaters and released 2. We also caught 2 dorados and had a blue marlin strike a black bart lure on the long rigger. Surf swell has been good all week at Playa Langosta, Avellanas and Grande and it has been 4 to 6 feet, glassy with slightly offshore winds. Avellanas is amazing. i stayed there for 2 weeks a couple of summer ago.
