Yours busted all over the kitchen, forgot to poke holes in it
My old lady seen this thread and decided to put some hamburgers in the crockpot so I don’t have to go out in the heat and grill em on Father’s Day. I can’t wait.
Don’t get no better than that.

I’m stunned.

This is a bit messy but worth it. Cover a big cookie sheet with one sheet of Heavy Duty foil, cover the ribs with “rub” of your choice, broil on high for 5 mins to get it seared, repeat for underside. Pull it out (smoky as all get out… sorry) and put something under the ribs (plate, s/s rack is best) so ribs are about 1/2" off the foil. Pour in a 12 oz beer. Slather on some sauce you like. Use foil to cover the entire thing leaving some room over the ribs, at least 1"… you may need to have a double width stretch of foil… and seal the entire pan by wrapping the foil tightly around the pan. Put it back in the oven at 375 for 1 hr. I do this all the time with baby backs and St Louie style since I don’t live close to SellsFish.

I do ribs in the crockpot and they always turn out really good. Cut 1 large onion and spread in bottom of crockpot. Cut ribs however you want and put your favorite seasoning on them and put ribs over the onions. I also use about 3 cloves of garlic minced and add to crockpot. Last add water to crockpot until the ribs are about covered. Cook on low 6-8 hours. I then use a cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil and spread ribs evenly. Apply favorite BBQ sauce and broil in oven for about 10-15 minutes. Just don’t broil them to long and watch them. Easy to do while at work and easy clean up and fall off bone tender. I usually put the onions in a pile on cookie sheet and can be used with ribs if desired.
I think you got shocked one too many times there High Voltage.

That’s how my wife does em… I was a little concerned as I’d never had them like that, but we were young and I didn’t want to complain to a new wife that enjoys cooking… so they are pretty darn good like that to me. When I cook em they are done on the grill or smoker, but far from me to complain about some good Crock pot Ribs.
I’m even gonna get me one of those sous vide machines and try a steak.

Sman, No sir it only takes 1 time to make you respect it lol.
Fred, I agree the grill is better but the crockpot way really is pretty good for being easy to do.
