Ribs

I saw a thread going around earlier with a lot of ideas on ribs. They are probably my favorite thing to cook (mostly cause it is an excuse to sit around and drink for 3 or 4 hours). So tender one of the bones stuck to the tin foil and pulled straight through the meat.

My only downfall is that I haven’t been able to perfect my own sauce. I have been using a variation of different sauces that always turn out great!

Does anyone have any good suggestions for creating a signature sauce?

Create a good rub and smoke them with a combonation of maple chips and hickory at about 225 for 5 hrs…

better yet; put a good dry rub on them and then use the Orion cooker. takes about 1.5 hours and they fall off of the bone. then i put them on a hot grill and burn in the wet sauce. MMMMMMMMMMMMMM Good Cracker.

1st off clean your ribs. Take off the silver skin

Add your Rub. (I make my own)

Smoke with a Mixture of Hickory and Apple wood (SLOW AND LOW)

Sauce them up a bit and make a drink

Cut them and check your smoke ring and ENJOY

That is how you make ribs. End of story.

Going to Church doesn’t make you a Christian any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.
