ride 115?

looking at a ride 115angler with adj seat for cursing around the backwaters and also getting into the sounds…My question is about the size. I have always run a 13+ foot yak in big water. Is this thing enough to stay comfortable fishing around inshore in bft area?

I originally planned to buy a 115. I paddled a 115 and then paddled a 135 right after that. The 115 felt like a log compared to the 135. It did not track as well as the 135. I went with the 135. I don’t think you’ll be sorry with the extra couple of feet.

I thought about the 115, lighter, easier to carry, etc. but most people said to go with the 135. Never paddled the 115, bought a 135. Only drawback with the 135 is its heavy(90lbs + loaded) but I would have second guessed myself if I had gone with the smaller Ride.

The 115 is slower than the 135. It’s a good boat, but you’ll get a workout paddling against wind and tide
