Ride 135???

Does anybody have the manufactuers name or a link for the Ride 135. I’m trying to decide on a kayak and have been researching my options. Right now I’m leaning toward the Hobie Outback or Hobie Revolution. I’ve read the pro’s and con’s for both in the posts, but there seems to be alot of mention of this Ride 135. Any input would be appreciated…

Wilderness Systems makes them. Here’s their link.

Blue,

The Ride 135 is definitely cheaper, so even though Im a Hobie fanatic, its probably the boat I’d recommend to someone that doesnt want to pony over the extra 800 or so for the Hobies.

Now I dont know if the Ride comes with a paddle, but you can find them online (or around town, Timeout has some in stock) for about 800 (internet price, not sure what Timeout’s is). So if you add in a paddle cost you cant quite get 2 for the price of a Outback but its close.

I have a Ride 135 and the Hobie Rev and while both are great kayaks for fishing they each have their strenghts. I can stand up in the Ride and cast my fly rod or use a cast net. I can cover a lot more water in the Hobie. For the money I think the Ride is one of the better sit in Kayaks but if you have the cash you sure can’t go wrong with the Hobie.
