Left GLM at 3:30 Started at the Hole, lines in @ 5:50 am. Immediately had a double knock down, boated 1 nice BFT. Then it slowed for the rest of the day. Fished the hole until 10am with only 1 king and a half dozen or so small BFT to show. Ran up to the Scarp in search of better fishing but did not find it. Caught another 6 or so small BFT and a bunch of cudas. Water was 1.5 deg warmer at the Scarp but still saw very little bait and life in general. Guess we should have ran south. Oh well, maybe next time…
Good deal Ryan. I stopped by Tradd’s yesterday to gear up and sharpened some hooks. It seems that he’s got a few new “BFT Rigs” that he’s ready to try out. Thanks for the tip!
