Got to the dock at Gtown at 4:30 am only to find the plotter/bottom machine wasn’t working. Decided to wait until light and go catch bait and kingfish. We had trouble finding bait and then around 8:00am the unit started working (we think it was a moisture in the unit)
So we headed out late. Stopped at the Parking lot and started to troll. Caught 2 kings and a bonita. Picked up and ran to 120’ inshore of the Scarp and found steady action for a few hours although the species may have not all been on the “A” list.
Ended up with:
1 nice sail (quick released at the wind on leader)
4 doplhin (1 pnut released)
6 Kings (Had the biggest sky on a lure and cleared the water by at least 20’)
2 bonita
2 cudas
