Right species, wrong size

WEnt out Sunday afternoon and fished the Wando and caught about 20-25 trout. Only 2 were keepers but the rest were 11-12 inches. Caught on DOA Gold flake shrimp under a popping cork. Next time we will try and find the big ones!

While they weren’t keepers, catching little ones isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It just means that there will be big ones next year.

"Apathy is the Glove into Which Evil Slips It's Hand", but really, who cares?

Yep, and they were fun to catch as well!

Don’t know what the significance is…but all we’ve been catching as far as trout are concerned, under smaller ones. They’re all undersized. Frustrating, yet good for the future I guess?
