Ran out of the jetties at 0430 to be greeted by rain, wind, and lighting but it was just far enough to the north for us to make it out of the Gtown jetties. Started at the hole and picked up a BFT and jumped off a very large Dolphin. Pushed out deep around 8am. No action for a while so we pulled out 4 PB & J sandwiches. That did it. Fish on! Released a White and jumped another off.

No activity other than more Tstorms after that until noon when we finally ran upon some dolphin. Caught 5 in 15minutes or so. A couple were gaffers the rest were slingers.

Found a break in the afternoon and proceeded to have 2 billfish come in on the teasers. Could not seal the deal on either. Then another fish comes in all fired up below the teaser. We assumed another billfish although we never saw a bill on this one. We hooked up and were prepared for a release when we realized it was wahoo. Traded the gloves for a gaff and put him in the box.

All in all an enoyable day.
Totals:
