Got to GTH area @ 330 Sunday afternoon and started catching dolphin shortly thereafter. Around 630 picked up a nice hoo.
Then the tunas came up pushing flyers around 7pm. Between 7 and 8 we ended up going 1/5 on the YFT:face_with_head_bandage:
We pulled lines in around 8:30 and set up to do some drifts over the ledge w/ livebait(mullet & flyers). Immediatley caught a dolphin then made another pass and caught another dolphin and 2 decent blackfins around midnight. Aside from a 4am visit from Cudazilla the rest of the night was pretty quiet.
We trolled from daylight to 10am and caught some more dolphin and a few small blackfin that were released as well as the smaller dolphin. Saw a few tuna busting in the morning but they were very sporadic and didn’t stay up long. I think all the ones we saw busting this morning were blackfin.
