Ripple Effect 4/30

Had 5 of us on the new boat today for the first trip. We fished the SCSSA tournament in hopes of catching a decent dolphin. We left the dock at 5:15 headed out to the 380hole. Had lines in at 7:35. 380 was full of life, but only a few slingers. We picked up and ran 25 miles north to a spot just south of the GTH. Lots of scattered weed, but we picked at em and ended up with 10 fish.
At 2:15 we picked up and ran to the SWbanks in hopes of a wahoo, but that didnt work out. Lines out at 3:30, so we picked up and cruised on home at over 45mph. Lots of running around, but we wanted to let the boat stretch her legs out and see what other options were in other areas.

How long will the boat stay in Charleston? This going to be a one time thing or will we see the big cat running the harbor this summer?

Set the trap boys, we going to pass through them again!!

The boat will be here for a while. We are going to use it as the factory demo and fish SKA and other local blue water tourneys.

Got to run her out Sunday afternoon for some bottom fishing. Pretty choppy, but she ate it up running to the Red Banks. Pretty cool to be able to leave at 1pm, run 40mph to the spot, catch fish, and be back by 5:30. Released a bunch of endagered fish that were red and black. Good to see them in numbers.
