Not actually…but we ended up only 17 miles from there so it was tempting. Beautiful water SE of the Deli, 1st fish (dolphin) at 7:45
lost one , pushed out to god knows how deep, found a nice little area
of flyers, broken weed, lost two more then boated 3 30lb+ bulls in spite of ourselves, ran back to 180’, very “fishy”, couple more tugs
and called it a day. If the bait and water continues like it was we
should be off the hook in the coming weeks. Ended the day with 7, probably could have done better if I hadn’t left the outriggers on the driveway. My apologies to my crew, at least I didn’t rip the console off when I careened out of the drive with the shore power
still connected !

Why did you leave that area? If we caught 3 30+lbers, you couldn’t have gotten us to leave…did the bite turn off there?
