riverland terrace boat landing

Can anyone tell me about riverland terrace boat landing? Is it a good landing? Plenty of water to load boat on low tide.
Thanks

yes, it’s good ramp at low tide. the current rips through, so just remember to use the down-current ramp, or your boat will be pinned against the dock.

the biggest problem with this ramp is that is a high wake zone during the summer and weekends. there are NO “no wake” bouys, and if your boat is pinned against the dock, well, it can be ugly.

I’ve been using that ramp since I was a kid. I like it. Use the down-current side, like MW said, and go when the crowds are at home. If you’re not experienced in manipulating a boat in stiff current, though, you might want to opt for another ramp, because it is pretty swift there.

I know a guy who sank a john boat there…it got pinned up to the dock so hard that it actually got pushed down and under it went.

Mountain Dew or Crab Juice. Eeww…sheesh…I’ll take a crab juice.

I can see that happening there.
