I’m thinking about going to Roatan to try the bones and permit. Can anyone recommend a place to stay or areas to fish?

I know a guy there that says they could shoot the bones from his porch w/ a .22. could. im trying to get there as well. Roatan is the place according to him. Im tring to get there myself. My wedding, as happy as I am, has screwed my usual nomadic summers completely. If your ever in Mt. P, I work the bar @ fonduelys. The Hond. connection is usually there every night I work (Tues-thurs). grab a seat and pick this guys brain, I did and have not stopped drooling.
Anthony’s Key Resort is a great place.
My wife and I used to go there a couple times a year B.K. (before kids). We stayed at Sante spa. Its on a little pennisula off the mainland only accessable by boat. Owner’s house and one guest house on the whole property. I walked the flat in front of the main house every morning and caught a lot of bones, then walk out to the drop off of the reef and have some fun with the cuda and aguha. The owner’s are really nice people and the place is top notch with great fishing on your own private flat. The bones aren’t huge but they are pretty dumb and plentiful. Great on the 6 wt. I need to go back.
