I can not tell you all how grate i am that my girlfriend and i are alive. Last night while leaving work we were approached while getting into out car. One of the guys put gun to my back and instructed us to head back inside. I tried to convience them to take the nightly deposit and leave, but they wanted the money in the safe. We were forced back into the building and back to the office towards the ssafe. I gave them the money, but that was not enough. The three of them assualted both of us, i was tased (sp) three times and finaly locked in one of the coolers. I have never been so scared or mad in my whole life. I wanted nothing more than to hrt these people, but the fear of having my loved one shot in front of my eyes was too much to risk. I pray that god helps the police catch these mfers and that they will get what they have coming to them. I am so glad that we walked away from this whole ordeal alive. I quit my job that night and i think we are going to spend some time together trying to heal. GOOD TO BE ALIVE

Happy to hear you are safe. I am an AF Combat Cameraman and there has been a lot of emphasis on put on post-traumatic stress disorder, following highly stressful encounters like you just described. I have a booklet you can have that might help you and your girlfried to recognize symptoms of PSTD. You can PM me if you think this would help.

when they are caught,and they will be sooner or later,they got to come and stay at my place of work.they will be facing alot of charges,and hopefully will do much prison time.the main thing is you and yours are ok.
First off, thank you all for your support. We are both doing ok and spending alot of time with family. It has been nice to spend time with the ones you love and just relax. My girlfriend and I went and saw a counsler today to talk about some of the things the happened and to try and come to terms with everything. I am still struggling with the feelings of anger. I know that if i had of tried something that we may have both been killed, but the fact that my loved one was put in that situation and i was unable to protect her really hurts. I know we be able to move forward and I am just happy she is still with me.
I am sure that come wednesday or thursday i will be looking to get out on the water if anyone is interested. Redfishville? GOOD TO BE ALIVE.

Glad to hear you and your girlfriend are doing ok, considering what happened. Sounds like you have a great family for support, and don’t forget that you have the FSN (Fishing Support Network). Might not be able to get out to the “ville” till next weekend though.

BAD NEWS!!! They got my fishing license. It was in my wallet with all of my other stuff. I guess i have to wait to get a new drivers license before i can get another one. I hope they do not catch any fish under my license.
