Robbie Johnson

The fishing community lost a great man and a great fisherman. Robbie touched many people in all walks of life as evident by an overflow crowd at his funeral today. Thanks for the good times and many good memories. Rest in Peace Robbie. You will be missed.

For 25 years, I have had the privilege and honor to fish with the Johnson family.

It is an honor I will never take for granted.

The family represents the finest in this sport, this community, and sportsmanship from a time that seems too long ago.

Robbie lives on in all of us fortunate enough to have known him and fished with him over the years.

And it is in his honor that we will continue to preserve this bountiful resource and opportunity we so often take for granted.

Thoughts and Prayers to the family…another great loss to the Charleston fishing community.

Well said Michael…the community has indeed lost a great man and a great fisherman. Robbie Johnson got me hooked on fishing when I was a kid and he always took the time to show me what he knew. He was a role model for many and lived life to the fullest. We will miss Robbie very much. My thoughts and prayers are with the Johnson family.

Al, copy and paste this link to your browser. I can’t put the dates together in my head and am not sure if they had Tolers when you had your boat there or not.

Robbie was a good man.
