rock pad for boat trailer

planning on a loose rock pad for boat trailer parking. 18 ft boat.
what to edge it with? its surrounded by grass.

The metal edging I am afraid might cut the trailer tires, 1x4 treated wood will rot in 5 years. Maybe two layers of bricks on sides so you get about 6 or 7 inches high?
who in charleston sells loose bricks?? , maybe a gray isn color?
any other ideas on edging it?

If you add up all the cost of a loose rock parking spot you could probably pour a concrete one for the same money.

Treated 2x6 with treated 2x6 stobs driven every 6-8’ or so. Would last a long time.

Lowe’s sells a plastic edging for patio pavers. Comes in 6’ sections, and they sell a spike to secure it to the ground that will not rust bust or collect dust. You can cut the edging with a saw to fit. Just used it on a patio that I installed.
