Haddrell’s sell’s the rockport rattler jig heads in black, glow, and red 1/4 Oz. They have instructions on back of packet showing how to cut 1/4 inch of your grub so it will slide over the rattle chamber.
They also have a rattle hook. The jigs work real well but are not indestructible. I caught 3 small trout on a glow with a live shrimp, almost all the paint was gone from the jig head. I used a red one and had to use the pliers to get the hook out which resulted in breaking the rattle chamber. They catch fish but need fine tuning. I have been in contact with the owner in Rockport, TX. He is working the problem.

Thats good to know. I had just been looking at those jig heads. I may give them a few months and see if they can get the probs ironed out.
