Bonzo , get a few noodles and screw them to a board with some big washers .Mount the board to the wall and make some slices in the noodle where you want your rods to hang (different space for big or small reels) , It works .

Penny and the rest of the PVC clan. Heat the end of the PVC with a torch or heat gun and flare it with a wine bottle. It keep the shrap edge from chewing up your rod handles.
This is turning into a great thread. Lots of good stuff here. One other thing I use is a golf bag to hold rods that do not have reels attached. You would be amazed how many you can safely store in a small amount of space. I put the reels in cabinets each year as I do maintenance over the winter.

a long wood board with pegs sticking out of it. we have all our our rods hanging up on the wall like that. just point tips down and then set them on pegs.
Sorry to continue with the hijacking but I believe older batteries were encased in rubber as opposed to the plastic the modern ones use. The plastic blocks the electical transfer that drained the older batts. If this is wrong someone please start a new thread in the proper forum with a correct explanation.
