I was wondering what type of rod holders do you have on your boat. I am looking at purchasing 4 rod holders. 2 for the front and 2 for the back. I am thinking about getting Scotty with Flush Mount, so I guess am wondering if it is a good rod hold?
I am also looking at getting 2 of the stainless steel flush mounts for the back also.
I know that yall are a very opinionated people so just wanting you opinion.

I have 6 of the Cabelas quick draw rod holders on my boat. They were on it when I bought the boat, but I like them. They are very similar to the Scotty ones, except that they have a hinge in them at the bottom and the whole thing pivots upwards when you go to pull the rod out of the holder. The rod comes out smoothly and you donât have to fumble around with getting the rod out nearly as much when a big fish really nails the rod and has it bent over like crazy.

I thought about getting something along those lines but I didnât know how it would hold up. I purchased a set of Bass Pro ones for my last boat and they were horrible.

Check out the Scotty rocket launcher No. 471 with locking flush mount. I was actually looking at ordering these when you put your post up last week. Curious how these will function and look mounted on the gunnel of a flats boat? Canât post picture from my phone.
