For those with kids what size rod do/did you have for them?
My 5 year old has a nemo rod now but I think it’s time to go up in size,he can cast my 6’6" with an open faced reel on it now so I think that I lost my faorite one:smiley:
I think an ugly stik would be a good choice from a durability standpoint. The ugly stik custom inshore rods are very good for the money if you want something the performs better than the mostly fiberglass ones. They cast very well and are fairly light.
