The family is vacationing near the romain retreat area off seewee in awendaw this weekend. Any good fishing nearby and what types of bait to use? I’m a largemouth angler from NC but looking to enjoy some ICW fishing from piers and docks or whatever the property has. Heard the reds were still around. Any helpful hints or tips appreciated. Thanks!
Reds are always around, just school up in the cooler water. A Carolina rig with a shrimp is always a good one, and seems to be working well if you can find the fish. If your right on the ICW try and catch some mullet. Fresh cut mullet is always a good one and attract all sorts of fish. Hope you and the family catch some fish. Good luck!
