soooo:question:…what did you think i was talking about ?
just funn’in with ya:smiley:
Did catch a bunch of little shrimp…this was one cast!
and in case you dont have one…dustpans with the little brooms come in real handy for quick pickups! This one came from the DOLLAR TREE as a set…for 1.00
Did find a few “spots” too
found a few larger shrimp and made this for dinner when we got home
sweet yellow, red and orange bell peppers with three cloves chopped garlic, scallions, kosher salt, fresh ground pepper and two tablespoons olive oil sauteed. then added in the shrimp… and cooked until pink…removed and tossed with feta cheese and a little fresh parsley.
Penny I love that ROO, she will let you do anything. The Tomato and Shrimp salad looks fantastic, taht would have been dinner for me. I have a question does Roo like seafood? I know some folks do not give their pups anything but dog food, just wondering. I have had several Labs and a Samoyed that would rather eat fish than a steak. I believe it would be healthy and a good treat. My Cheasepke would sit by the fish cleaning table and drool, between her and the cat I was lucky to get a few fillets for serving.Hope you have a wonderful 12 days off and enjoy this fine lowcountry.
Sophish…Roo does like fish and shrimp…and unfortunately anything Donnie is eating too ;). Lol. I take advantage of this at times…Donnie likes to get in the last word at times…but all I have to do to one up him is feed Roo a boiled egg before I leave for work! Hahaha
Hoo farmed…the little shrimp are thick right now on the lower tides…find you a stretch of marsh with a mudd flat below it and toss in a couple of feet of water and you’ll have all you need. Little deeper you might catch some bigger shrimp…
Glad y’all enjoyed my little joke…fishing tommorow…crabbing with daddy Friday. Taking my new 12 foot met with me…has the sewn webbing on the bottom…can’t wait. Threw it a few times last week and really like it. 50 foot line…added another 40… Won’t have to chase this one
Wow, those are some good looking plates of food! If you ever quit your real job you could make a fine living showing tourists the salt life and then cooking dinner for them:smiley:
You have a true Low Country soul Penny, thanks for sharing. Enjoy vacation!
