Lowcountry, I’ve been duly informed that any handgun transfers across state lines, that don’t go though a licensed FFL dealer is in violation of federal law. I thought it might be, and neither of us want a federal firearm violation charge.

A licensed FFL dealer and forum member has offered to handle the transaction for us, and keep us both legal. I’ll pm you the info, but nothing to it. I hate laws like this, but hate being in jail worse, this is painless

Isn’t it a crazy country, when I’m licensed to carry any weapon I want to in GA, and have been for 40 years, and I can almost see SC from my house, but I can’t legally cross the river and buy a handgun, or even carry mine? Nuts.
