Ruskies

Fished with these guys on Sunday about 95 miles offshore straight out of Murrells Inlet on Sunday. They stayed about 5 miles South of us at all times. Even after picking up and running about 10 miles the ship appeared once again about 5 miles south and stayed with us. Never got close enough to see any writing or defining colors but had a very large radio tower and you could make out the gun turrets on the bow. Good times.

Wow man that’s crazy

“mr keys”

That makes the drones seen offshore sometime even more creepy. I’ve wondered if they were military, now gotta wonder whose military.

Dang, so even the Ivans are trying to steal numbers now?

“Apathy is the Glove into Which Evil Slips It’s Hand”, but really, who cares?

Russian AGI’s are all up and down our east coast all the time. This is nothing new. Because of the recent increase in media attention on Russia (even though the things they’ve been doing lately are things they do and have done all the time), the media is going to treat this like some “big story” but it’s not. You should see how thick they get when NASA sends something up from Canaveral. Rest assured, the U.S. Navy knows they’re there too and has several sets of eyes on them.

No matter how much it hurts, how dark it gets, or how far you fall…you are never out of the fight.

May be there a lot, but still creepy.

When you moved, did you move away in the direction they were pointed or away in the opposite direction? Did they have to turn to end up close to you again? Any other boats out there that day? I’m sure what that boat can do from 5 miles, it can do from 15 miles, but interesting that it seemed to follow you. I assume you have radar on that 31’.

I don’t doubt there are plenty of Russian craft on the sea and in the air. I prefer out of site and out of mind. I’m aware there are felons and child molesters that I walk within close proximity to every day but being 100 miles offshore in a 26’ CC with no boat in site other than a Russian Comms ship is about the equivalent of being locked in a 10’x 10’ cell with those felons and child molesters.

Btodag, the ship approached us from the north, moved around to the south and then pointed her bow at us and sat on one spot about 4nm (radar tag) away for the next 4 hours. We picked up and ran in towards the ledge about three miles and then south another 10 to a deep drop spot in about 1000’. 30 minutes later the ship approached us again from the north, moved around to the south side of us about 4nm away and pointed her bow at us and sat again until we picked up about an hour later and ran into the ledge around some commercial boats. After that the ship moved back offshore and we didn’t see it for the rest of the day.

Do not tell fish stories where the people know you; but particularly, don’t tell them where they know the fish.

Run at it, provoke an attack, call the navy, start WW3.

But really, that’s creepy.
